Most people believe that the whales have been saved because of the very popular "Save the Whales" movement of the Seventies …

But if you think whales have been saved…Think again!…for nothing could be further from the truth!

.The mission of the "Save the Whales Again!" Campaign is to get the truth out to the masses so we can re-ignite the passion of the earlier "Save the Whales" movement and "Save the Whales Again!". We are doing this via our international media out reach campaign featuring Pierce Brosnan, Keely Shaye Smith, Hayden Panettiere, Isabel Lucas and others as our spokespersons.

Unfortunately, dolphins and whales face more threats today than ever before from toxic pollution, noise pollution, global warming, loss of habitat, lack of food, over-fishing, entanglement in nets, ship strikes, and expanding whaling.

At the recent meeting of the International Whaling Commission (IWC) Japan announced it was more than doubling its annual take of minke whales in the Southern Ocean from over 400 to more than 900 and that it was going to also kill endangered fin and humpback whales. Following suit, Norway also said it would at least double the number of minke whales it now kills in the North Atlantic from over 700 to 1,500 per year. This year, Iceland announced it too would more than double the numbers of whales it will kill. Thus far there has been little to no response from the Bush Administration even though 75% of Americans oppose whaling.
